Claimed by Gods by Eva Chase

The Book ✯✯✯✯✯

Loki, Thor, Baldur, and Hod call forth a mortal to become a Valkyrie. If that isn't enough for you to pick this one up, I don't know what else you want. It is an action-packed urban fantasy and Chase's version of Loki is as swoon-worthy as our favorite Marvel movie character. But be warned, this book definitely has elements that wouldn't make it into the PG-13 movies.

Fast-paced and easy to absorb and enjoy, Claimed by the Gods is the first in her Valkyrie series. It is a reverse harem, and for those new to the genre: it basically means "why choose?" No reason to pick between Loki and Thor when you can be with them both, eh?

Avoiding spoilers, most of her relationships are slow burn and the story focuses on saving the world and learning her new powers. The budding relationships are only a part of this fun novel. If you enjoy Curse of the Gods by Jaymine Eve and Jane Washington, you'll love Claimed by Gods.

  1. If I can have Loki looking like Tom Hiddleston and Thor like Chris Hemsworth then I definitely would struggle to choose and not having to would be a happy day. This book sounds intriguing. I have read a few reverse harem's a couple were done well the other read like a porn script. I also like that this isn't the main focus of the story, that it is just an element of it. Fabulous review. A 5 star rating for your review has me convinced that this should be on my TBR. :)

    1. Thank you for trusting me! There is certainly a steamy scene, but it does NOT read like a porno. Promise!
