The Book ✯✯✯✯✯
Scott Reintgen did it again, folks! It is rare that I read the second book in a trilogy (or triad, in his case) that I even enjoy the bridge book. But I'll read it because I need to know the story. In Emmett, Morning, and Nyxia's case? I loved it more.
They've landed on the alien planet and have made contact with those peoples. They are not at all primitive, and the story that unfolds is fantastic. Though written for the young adult audience, don't count this out. It's a great sci-fi, and there is a particular scene that reminds parents that we are what guide our children to choose right. Help them choose it as children, and they'll pick it when the stakes are higher.
It is action packed, and Reintgen pulls no punches. This will leave you feeling entertained, sad, and happy by turns. Continue the triad now while I impatiently wait for the third book.
Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Children's, and Scott Reintgen for this free ARC in exchange for an honest review.
